The first center of MathWizard opened in November, 2006. Two
new centers have been opened on August 1, 2007. Details of

Highlights:
Classes
Classes are conveniently divided by Grade and Subject.
Classes are designed to have up to 8 kids maximum. The class size helps foster interaction among a small
group and also 1-on-1 interaction with the teacher.
Duration of each class is 40 minutes.
The teacher provides instructions on a "topic of the week" to all the students, and follows up with
questions and answers.
Students complete a worksheet based on the topic covered in class.
After class, students take material home for the rest of the week.
Take-home material
Worksheets are divided into two sections.
SECTION I (numerical): Customized to each individual student's skill level, this section
provides practice with numerical facts. Students focus on speed and accuracy.
SECTION II (problem solving): "Critical thinking" section of the worksheet that has analytical
and word problems. Also included in this section are problems that are based on the topic covered during class.
Flexibility
Parents can choose from two program options in Math - Silver and Gold
Silver: Take home material for three days in a week.
Gold: Take home material for five days in a week.
(This helps to make the program possible for present-day kids, who, at times, seem to have busier schedules
than their parents !!!)
Low-cost
Registration fee: $25/-. If siblings register at the same time, their Registration fee is waived.
Silver option: $75/- per month per subject per student
Gold option (Math only): $85/- per month per student
