MathWizard program has evolved with extensive research of
public school curriculum in the USA. The program includes all topics that are covered in every grade in elementary and
middle schools.
MathWizard is an after-school supplemental
program which focuses in the following areas:
Math:
1. Speed and accuracy in number calculations.
2. Real world scenarios that involve numbers. This is achieved
via word problems.
3. Other grade appropriate concepts covered in public schools
in the USA.
Reading:
Grade appropriate content in the following three areas helps
the kids enrich their English Reading skills.
1. Comprehension
2. Vocabulary
3. Grammar
Please note: This is not a Writing program. Hence emphasis
on writing of essay, letter and synopsis is not included.
The program is available in the form of worksheets.
Each worksheet takes about 15 to 30 minutes, so the program
blends with regular school coursework without causing an
overload.
Teaching
The material is supported by extensive explanation of concepts
at the time of their introduction. Examples are provided
to help the students understand the concept.
How does it work?
Math program is available in three options

The program is available via postal mail only.
Worksheets are mailed as per the following schedule:

The student has one month to complete the
worksheets. Thereafter, the Results Recording Sheet (RRS)
should be sent back to MathWizard. The RRS is used to track
the progress of the student. Feedback on the Recording Sheet
is provided every other month.
Tests
Students are expected to take tests after
they complete a predetermined number of worksheets in each
level. The tests are mailed with the program material. The
test scores should also be marked on the RRS in the appropriate
section and sent back to MathWizard.
Promotion to higher levels
Students are advanced to higher levels based
on:
1. Test scores
2. Review of Results Recording Sheet (RRS)
3. Request by parents.
